I'm trying to come out of this a bit healthier than when I went in...

Been non stop landscaping and moving building materials round the house and yard, and using my 1hr a day to use the mtb as much as possible...

Not bad for a near 20st mid 30s alcoholic on a whyte gravity bike

I've had the MTB out today. Now getting grief for it on facebook

Lost 10lbs already. I am likely to be at target weight in 2 weeks.

Yep, by the end of summer I want to be able to return to landegla and ride the park without putting a foot down.

Think it’s time for the government to add driving about to the list of acceptable activities! It’s not going to spread the virus if you don’t get out of the car!

I’d probably be less inclined to let everyone know how much weight you’ve lost.

Weight loss is a symptom apparently

I have been eating much better (and less) prior to and during the lockdown as well.

For me, I think I may be furloughed today. So I have ordered a lot of disposable/sacrificial tools with help from friends. Angle grinder, mains drill, flap discs, wire cups and brushes, wheel chocks, plastic bags for itemising fixings, PPE etc. So I'll be spending some time under the 'new' S14 trying to do what I can as one person to move it along.

Bring it on then; target weight minus a stone

Weight can be misleading, measuring waist and midriff is better to track your progress.

You could build 5lb of muscle and be disheartened to see the scales not going down and give up if you’re only looking at your weight to track your progress.

Definitely lost around midriff and waist - I'm down to last hole on belt and it's not holding trousers up very well any more.

But I have no doubt I have some muscle wastage too especially in my leg given my back complications.

Time to ream yourself a new hole then

sx rider is right about the weight thing as muscle weighs a lot more than fat BUT... in your case, you did need to lose the beer belly

In other interesting news, I didn't realise how much younger than me Boris was !

I have been festering at home for the past couple of weeks, incredibly sad that basically none of my cars that need worked on are at my house and the limited things I have at home.

Helped the missis with the garden but we badly need a top run now.

    Cleaned the spare room

Started shelving out my defender with what little resources I have at home even tho it's most likely to be sold

Playing ps4 too but missis hates me playing it.

And crying as none of my project cars are at home

We are doing war time food. My grandmother could not cook a curry to save her life. But it’s quite tasty
