The 'Things To Do Whilst You're Stuck Indoors On Lockdown' thread

How about a more light hearted, community spirited Covid-19 Apocalypse thread since? Post here the books you'll read, the films you'll watch, the box sets you're getting stuck into, the activities you're managing to do, the exercise routines you're going at?

#****ing is already trending in the UK so I guess we can leave discussion on that firmly at the door We can also leave any bitching and whining about government response, people's inability to take it seriously etc because this is an upbeat thread innit

The plan is the thread can act as a means to give others ideas of things to keep themselves occupied with.

    So, things like:

DIY / Round The House / Mechanical
Fixed the CTR's mirrors and adjusted the clutch
Cleaned out the attic and earmarked a load of stuff for freecycling / tip when we can

    Box Sets
    Rewatching The IT Crowd

    Films
Watched Road - documentary on the Dunlops; very poignant.

    Books
Going to re-read a few classics like Animal Farm / Brave New World

    Exercise
Got my pint lifting arm in shape - just gotta find some alcohol

Have ordered some awesome detailing products and I'm going to give both cars (and possibly the bikes, too) a good going over

At last a non contentious thread, perhaps here I’ll not be accused of spreading Chinese propaganda, all though i am partial to a good Kung Fu movie, so there’s still a chance

Films - Seven Pounds - Will Smith
Boxsets - The Stranger, The good place, Bosch, Atypical

As I no longer work, I already had a massive shitlist to work through but I'm finding I can't do most of it as it requires other people to be doing their jobs

Disney owns half of Hollywood, quite a few major studios are under it... er mouse.

Piccard - Star Trek on amazon prime is good.

And if there are any snow sports fans out there’s a new film called Dark Matter on amazon prime, mind blowing stuff!

Alright fine, I get paid by the Chinese government to promote it. I’ve never even seen a single episode

    Haha

I was so excited for it, I really was, and immediately deflated after the second episode. It has fun parts, but I think it's bad Star Trek. However I now NEED to see the finale to see what's going on. We better see some Federation ships!

Oddly, for a guy that doesn't watch much TV, I've seen most of STNG. Didn't go further than that though.

Today's mission is to recommission (that's kinda catchy) MTB as I need to continue working my leg muscles otherwise my left arse cheek will go all saggy again Nerve damage sucks.

I have a couple of fujimi s13 scale models to build, service my MTB and might put a new blower on the actual s13 at some point.
Also got a home gym so will be using that every other day

I need to start an exercise regimen soon. Sitting on the couch is getting very boring!
