    Wiper linkage bush replacement

Has anyone changed the pivot bushes in the wiper linkage rods?

Where the rods connect from the passenger side to drivers side, the passenger side keeps coming off.

Nissan don't have the part and they're saying I need to get new arms to replace it.

Any ideas on replacements or a different way to fix it?

You could try filling it up with sikaflex and letting in set or try making a new bush out of plastic or polyurethane

It doesn't look like it would come on the arm anyway. Looks like you might be able to get them and push them out, not sure.

Nissan 28828-65F00 or 28828-65F01 describes a seal, but might be a bush?

Your photo is really blurry so can't quite see whats broken (Unless its my eyes!).

When my linkage popped out I struggled to find a new replacement (thinking second hand items would be on there way out too....). I ended up drilling a hole through the old bush and putting a bolt and locknut. Been fine ever since....

You have to click on the picture, for some reason the picture didn't go on as it normally would.

I did think about doing that but I was also thinking I better do it properly lol.

If it doesn't work I will give that a go!

I've ordered some from Nissan so I'm hoping it does the job, only £9 as well.

They did say there is more chance it could be the mount itself and that's around £55 so I'm hoping these nylon bushes do the job lol.

These clips can give you a fix - although getting them on can be a bit tight getting your hands in to put them on

It's because you're still using Photobucket.

Please don't use photobucket, it's the anus of the internet.

Really ? I bought a nice shiny brand new arm about 12 months ago from the main Nissan dealership here in Guildford which took about three days to arrive...

That's exactly what I did on my 14 and had no issues after that.

I ordered this in the end but the nylon bush wouldn't clamp on.
