    Juke.....

So long story short missis is needing to trade in her car, we where looking for a car we both drive and bigger than her ignus, strangely enough I kept looking at this: NISSAN JUKE NISMO 1.6 RS DIG-T [218] 5DR

    https://www.jimreidvehiclesales.co.u...cotland-u3569/

So any thoughts? I have no idea about them tbh.

Not the Nismo, but I rented a base spec Juke and ****ing hated it. Vague and wallowy in absolutely every way and the boot space was crap. The only upside was telling the rear passenger how much I hated them for making me rent a crap car just so I could move them from place to place for a week.

Possibly the ugliest car on the road these days, looks like a frog.

Oh and it’s an suv so it’s got that going for it too

The new Ford Puma is getting good reviews for a small SUV and looks prettier IMO. High initial purchase cost though.

(Yes, Mark, it did hurt to admit that lol )

Its taken 16 years but JW has finally recommended a Ford

Mate, I am welling up here

Jukes are shitty shit shit, in fact most Nissans are these days and not because they are French (did I just defend French cars ) The new Megane is actually a good drive.

Just buy a Fiesta or Focus, job done. Or if you dont like Fords, a Leon.

My old man had the 1.2 Dig-T. Full of Japanese character and charm but painfully slow and not that great to drive sadly. This however looks a lot more fun. Grab a test drive and let us know!

Thanks for all the positive feedback.... , I took it a test drive as the missis was really keen for it, it will mainly be her car anyhow, so test drive:

    . With 218bhp it shifts
. Shite on fuel 35mpg average
. For the size it handles corners well
. Stiff for normal day use but nice
. Sounds like your missis hairdryer
    . Recaro seats are brilliant
. You forget how wide it is as the upper body narrows in
. The climate control and driving mode is annoying to switch between
. Eco mode is ****ing pointless

So it's alright fine to drive imo but I'm use to old shit like defenders, you feel like your driving a truck but it's fast, letting the missis decide I'm not against but I would accept it, just won't look at it lmao

Just be aware that it's highly likely that all 4 wheels will get kerbed to shit, also expect some body damaged from it being rubbed against a post or something.

So get wheel protection and scuff repair insurance when you buy it to cover the repair costs.

What on Earth is going on?

Ford are bastardising their model names. A Puma was a small coupe, now an SUV....

And now a Mustang electric SUV....

What next a GT40 pickup or a Model T Tractor?

Any decent ideas for Rim protectors? I have some Nismos to go on my Z and don’t want them curbed

Tyres are for gripping the road, not for looks. I have no stretch

I’ve got Pilot Super Sports going on. Not cheap either. Remember the days when the fattest tyre was 215 / 225? 285 on the rear

Farmers or their workers. I curved my 19’s because some tractor swerved and almost hit me

And year they were good old days. I even went 215 on front and 235 on the back because it was cool to have different sizes.... well that was Scolding’s view. I went 225/45 because it was cheaper (Standard BMW size)...

Just drove a nismo rs for the first time today. Completely different to how a standard juke handles. It went round corners and roundabouts like it was on rails and that's with awful tyres on aswell. Tyre pressure has to be perfect on it though, it's very sensitive, if the pressures are off it'll savagely pull one way or the other. Your missus will have to be careful of the torque steer if she has a lead foot. It's fast enough but not mega fast. Not got a massive boot but it's OK. I'd be worried that nissan is Renault now though so would it be reliable?
