Not a Cher thread. But would you have purchased that future money pit that was your first Japanese RWD Coupé?

Could have been comfortable with a Golf GTi lol

i wish i could have back every pound ive spent on it.
ive a car shaped un-useful object taking up space in my garage.
I wouldn't have sold my s14a...
Or the S13, the 205 GTi's (x3), especially the Dimma. Or the XR2. Or the RS Turbo.
But in answer to the original question; yes I still would have bought my s14a and S13. The S13 was my first...
No. Mine was cursed and that was that. What I spent on it to keep it going was far, far too much - small change to me now, but at the time I put the car above loads of things that were much more important I should have been doing with my money instead.
I regret having sold my R32 as I didn't have that long enough to really enjoy it after I'd got it how I wanted it to be.
I miss my DC2 every now and then - just on the right road at the right time.
I don't regret buying my 996.
I would go back 4 years and keep my 180sx stock body with the ssr wheels and just enjoy it.
If i could go back to when i bought by s14a i would do a couple of things.
1, put every penny i could muster into a shares of Apple and Amazon
2, put my foot straight up the ex bitches arse ... hard.... so she fly's out the door.
Yes. I'd still have my s14a if some **** hadn't written it off.
I wish I'd known not to buy my first one from anywhere north of M4. Had to give up when the rot really got to it.
A banksy painting would definitely have been a good investment
I don't know, I think I'm in a minority but bought bone stock one. Went through the relevant stages 1 to 3a. Spent a few Bob of course. but I kept it 10+ years. Never once broke down. I got out before the rust started.
No regrets was a great car.
