apex 310mm S13 brake kit - replacement discs.

    hello chaps,

I know Apex aren't in the market any more but I have one of their 310mm kits and rather like it, given it's got 2 piece rotors.

I'm trying to figure out who they got the rotors off when the kits were being made, Hi-spec don't offer anything off the shelf as far as I can figure out.

It's a 7" PCD across, 8 holes, no positive or negative step to the mounting holes. 310mm overall, 32mm width.

Hi-spec will do a custom rotor, though can't imagine they're cheap.

any ideas as to anyone else that may sell them (or if anyone knows if Apex will still take public calls for random parts that they sold 10 years ago )?

    Cheers

    Alan

scratch that, figured it out, they're an AP racing disc - if anyone needs it in future, part number is CP3784-6080/1.

now to try and find someone to sell me a pair

    edit again.

Might be a wilwood part number as well - Wilwood 160-3870 - I actually think these might be the original manufacturer - there's a series of stampings in the back face of the mounting lugs that look like they match the original apex kit.

    edit:

final update - that wilwood part number is now obsolete - new one is 160-11835.

AP disk? Or Wilwood? Wilwood used to make a brake kit for the S13

The specs are the same, you could buy either and they'll bolt up to the centre bell. Looking at the pictures of the wilwoods, I'd suspect they were the original supplier.

Rally design in the UK list them, about 100 a side. Which isn't *too* bad.

here's the final link I found in case anyone needs it - casting appears to be the same so would suspect they're the original supplier.
