SR20 intake pipe restriction for 350hp?

Hi, I’ve bought a 2871r bolt on replacement turbo for my s14, and was going to aim for roughly 350hp.
It’s the version of 2871 that you bolt your standard turbo intake elbow onto, then put the standard rubber intake pipe onto that.

I was wondering if this will be a restriction for 350hp, should I buy an adaptor to fit a 3 inch pipe onto the turbo then make my own intake pipe? I was going to run it with a map sensor as well so no maf is needed.

    thanks in advance!

Awesome, I know the turbo can do more but I want to make my gearbox last until I can afford a z33 swap. Did you make 400hp on a 3 inch inlet?

Can’t really see it in this picture but it’s all I have currently.

I’m running the factory turbo intake elbow in to an apex metal intake pipe which replaces the original black plastic intake pipe.

Ah right! looks awesome, I might just make my own off the factory turbo intake elbow then. Thanks!

I made my own as the standard rubber one use to collapse on hot days... I just used some 3 inch pipe and silicone joiners I kept the standard elbow straight off the turbo. You can get bolt on straight outlets too

Apexi makes a good induction kit to replace that rubber intake. Easy to swap out the MAF for a straight pipe to the filter.

Z33 MAF and housing. All the cool kids are calling it a R35 GTR MAF, but it's literally the same part number.
Think I saw that Apexi also sells a housing for the MAF of you wanted to run that.
