Restoration Project - Murray 10 Baja - Mountain Bike

This was apparently one of the first true mountain bikes to be sold in the UK. Whilst everyone was riding around in Raleigh bombers, mum and dad bought me this for passing my 11 plus.

It’s nearly 40 years old and in need of a bit of TLC. Aim is to first take it apart. Wheels blasted and powder coated gold. Larry Kosilla is going to guide me how to take the stickers off.

One thing is the suntour derailleurs all work fine

    Woohoo! Mountain bike restorations ftw!

Still collecting parts and waiting for the call from the powdercoaters. Sourced replacement original decals tho!

Yours or mine?! Colours already chosen for mine... nothing flashy. Just almost original with a tweak.
