    Caliper thread repair

The thread has stripped off on my caliper where the brake hose goes.

Does anyone know where I can get it repaired?

I'm not sure what size thread it is on the standard caliper, but if it's not to badly damaged you might be able to rethread it with something like this:

    https://www.screwfix.com/p/tap-die-s...B&gclsrc=aw.ds

Will the nipple screw out ?, if so you could just replace the nipple, sorry I can't be of more help but I have not touched standard s body brakes for years.

    Thanks for the reply.

I found a company in Lancashire that will repair it for £35 in the end.

I should get it on Monday in time for the tuning on Wednesday.
