    Brake disc recommendation

I have an s13 with full r33 brake setup.

I need replacement front discs as on a recent trackday the discs were warping after 3 laps from the heat.

I've no idea what discs are on there but I am looking at ebc or stoptech.

Anyone any experience with either under track conditions?

You sure the discs were warping? It’s more often than not excessive pad transfer.

Regardless, Brembo do a good high quality OEM disc.

Was fine when left to cool then 2 - 3 laps in it would start and would get so bad like someone's hammering the steering wheel, it was literally un-drivable

If it was transfer the problem would persist? It is also perfectly fine under road driving conditions.

Mtec do a range of discs that might be worth a look, drilled, drilled/grooved, grooved, dimpled/grooved and C-hook.

    Sticky pad or piston?
Pads should slide in the calliper, any binding can hold them on and as the back plate expands when hot it gets worse under frequent application.
Pistons should move back under light pressure.
