    Has anyone made a firework?

Before anyone mentions my history with fire, I'm taking all the safety precautions.

I've got an Estes Model Rocket. Just to make sure it goes high enough, packing it with a D-Class Motor as it weighs a little more than normal. Basically , I'm carefully cutting open standard fireworks and packing the Estes with them... Just the normal, Rockets, Air bombs etc, May put a roman candle in and some screamers. Got about 10 Rockets in there and a dozen air bombs.

Relax, I've already tested it with just one air bomb. The Rocket Motor includes an explosive charge that would normally deploy the parachute at Apogee (About 1500 feet in this case. Instead the explosive ignites the black powder in a firework which then sets off the fireworky bits.

It should be pretty impressive and also I'm not going to use it near any built up areas

I have made a few strong curry's and chillies - those can definitely be classed as explosive devices, hell at least fireworks.

I was thinking of selling my poop to nasa for rocket fuel.

A video is a good idea.

Also, on the Safety front, please don't let the SXOC make any contributions to the Darwin awards this year.

Centre of gravity has already been checked and thrust to mass ratio. It should fly good to around 1500 feet before detonation

Fireworks are always best when they are in something... .something sturdy... that doesnt want to release the pressure.

So, find a porta loo and ... well mind and film it.
