    Steering rack seals

Has anyone got any idea what seals i would need to rebuild my steering rack? I think the seals have/ are going. Its not leaking out just not very positive. Tried 2 pumps and still the same.

was also looking into this as mine is now leaking from either end, Jon does your rack spline have any radial movement at all. say about 3mm rotation in either direction?

As in the input from steering column? I dont think so but its still in the car. Did you mean left right front to back or rotational play?

like if you was to loosen or tighten the track rod arm to the rack and the rack spline rotates in either direction if that makes sense? blooming hard to explain

I think i know what you mean, it doesn’t appear to have any play.

In the end I managed to find a company to rebuild the rack and it’s a lot better and more responsive for sure.
Also popped some solid rack mounts on there as mine were good to no man and it’s definitely an Improvement without any vibration
