1999 Blue Nissan 200SX auto for sale

Hi All. I currently own a blue 200SX - it's my third. I had a grey S13 back in the 90s (loved it so much), and a green S14 before this one. So I've owned a 200 for most of the last 25 years. Unfortunately, this one is getting to be too expensive to get through it's MOT mostly due to welding requirements, so I think it's time it became a project for someone with a bit more hands on enthusiasm and skills/knowledge than I have. It's time to say goodbye and find it a new owner

The problem I have is I'm not sure how much it's worth. Looking around it could be worth anything from about £1k to £8k. You can check on the MOT online system what work needs doing. The MOT runs out in a couple of weeks. I'm hoping someone can give me an opinion on what I could realistically expect as a fair price. (I'm going to keep the plate btw).

    Thanks , Michael

You'll definitely want to stick up some pictures on here if you can or put a link to some so we can all get an idea on what it's like.

So, does anyone have an idea what my 200 SX is worth now? Just to give me a rough idea when it goes on ebay? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Honestly, the MOT report didn't make for pleasant reading, do you have photos of all the corrosion?

    I know.

I'll get some done if it's light enough when I get home. I'm not totally sure I know which bits of the car the MOT report refers to but I'll have a go.

Might be worth getting quotes to get the welding done? Will give you a much better chance of selling for decent price that way

    What he /\ said.

About as bad as I have ever read, sorry. Killed my interest stone dead.

Reckon breaking your best chance of making more than pennies on resale TBH.

I couldn't get the MoT history to load, tried N2 OSX, 0SX etc but nothing.

Even if the shell is rotten you could still do a minimal breakdown of it and make a good deal out of the dressed engine (if it was fine), subframes, suspension arms, headlights, tail lights and touring splitter combined. Plus there's a growing market for carpets, bonnets etc.

If you can hang onto it, you could make more but you'd have to weigh it up against your time and effort.

The reg is now T920 HBW.

I'm going to make a couple of call re getting the welding done.
