I am looking to buy a kaaz 1.5 way diff for my Jdm 98' s14a but am unsure what part number I would need as there are a few. My car already has an s15 helical diff installed and I am unsure whether I need a kaaz for an s14 or s15 as the model number appears to vary depending on the car and I'm not sure if the casing I have is an s14 with s15 diff or an s15 casing with s15 diff. According to the driftworks part number list a 1.5 way for an s14 is SBN2745 and for an s15 is SBN2610. Anybody able to give me any advice on what I need or how to identify what I have. I'd assume its the s15 lsd SB 2610 being as I have an s15 diff but really not sure. Thanks.
Always buy for what diff housing you have. The helical has equal length output shafts where s14 vlsd has one shaft longer than the other.
So s15 spec r helical would be what I was ordering for
if I really wanted to swap from the s15 helical diff to a 1.5 way then I would buy an r32 diff (and shafts) fit the 1.5 way into that and swap the s14 rear cover onto it. then sell the s15 diff.
