    S15 spec s to spec r...ish help

    Hi everyone in need of help.

    Have a s15 spec s which I bought a sr20det block and fitted forged rods and pistons, I used my sr20de head along with everything else off the sr20de.

    I sourced a spec r engine loom with stock spec r ECU/injectors/AFM.

    Has an aftermarket manifold with a Tomei m7960 turbo/decat/hks hi power exhaust/aftermarket intercooler/R8 coil pack conversion.

    Started it up but its very lumpy on idle and revs up and down but really low so keeps going to die unless you keep revving it up but also misfires and pops out the exhaust alot. I can rev it up but does misfire abit but it does rev up ok ish.

    Checked timing and it is fine, checked injectors and no leaky/stuck open plus they spray fine, no boost leaks, cleaned icav and seems to be working.

    Smells very rich and I've checked the plugs and they are dry and very black.

    Would Oxygen sensor cause this?

    AFM?

    I've seen coolant temperature sensor come up alot?

    double check your earths

    I had similar on my converted spec S.

    unplugging lambda should make it run ok but over fuel.

    a dodgy AFM can make it run lumpy too

    crap coolant sensor will make it overfuel like mad but id have thought would idle ok

    Bought new lambda sensor and also coolant temperature sensor so can't be them.

    Checked voltage and signal on MAF and it all checks out but also checked the TPS and that checks out.

    No boost leaks.

    But I can get it to run but it's rough on idle and misfires when revved then pops and bangs alot from the exhaust.
