Power steering high pressure hose, fittings?

    Hi guys,

My power steering high pressure hose is leaking and I'm trying to source one locally, any companies on here sell them before I go to pirtek? Also, what are the fittings at the pump end and the rack end?
    Many thanks

    Pete

If I remember correctly the rack high pressure side is M14x1.5 but it is an odd fitting as it has an o-ring on it. The Return side on the rack is M16x1.5 and again is a special fitting. Unfortunately I'm not certain on the pump side it is either a 14mm or 16mm banjo (an r33 PS pump is 16mm)

You can actually make you're own high pressure line if you teflon steel braided hose and Teflon -AN fittings. it's -6 for the pressure line and -8 for the return. I did this on mine for an RB25 Swap and it worked flawlessly.

These can also be sourced from the UK, A company called Torques sells them (they are in Abergavenny but sell a lot through ebay)
