    S-Bodies and beyond

Iím sure thereís probably been something like this posted somewhere before but I canít find anything recent.

Lately I feel like Iíve fallen out of love with my S14a and keep finding myself considering selling up.

The issue is that I know I would have to replace it with something else to consume my wages and enjoy driving but I donít know if it would live up to the feel of the 14.

What have other people moved onto from their S-Bodies and have they regretted moving on?

Some possibilities if I did sell the 14 would be something like a Chaser, RX7, 4 door R34, s13 or ps13

Thank you, I look forward to hearing your thoughts.

I’ve kept the sx but had an Audi A4, landrover, and lately a modified mk5 fiesta prepared for track work which handles like its on rails.

I don’t think I could have the sx as an only car anymore

If you like the layout and the delivery, the natural successors seem to be the 1 Series Coupe or a Mustang.

I broke my S14 to move onto an R32 GTR because I thought I was bored of it and, while it the GTR was a great car, I never bonded with it. It lacked (for me) any spark. I should have gone to an M140i or similar, but didn't want to lay out that cash.

I'm not sure I'd leave an S14 to go to an S13, they're more similar than different. Just my perspective.

    S14a > e36 325 > StageA > S13 > e46 M3 > old swedish tank!

    BMW seems the logical progression

FD RX-7 if you really want an adventure, BMW if you wanna be boring.

Are you also using this car to get to work and stuff??

only BMW I'd consider worthy of replacing a s14a would be a ZM4....

Although personally I'd never sell my s14a.

I’m currently starting to break my 180sx and cant decide what to replace it with.

Bmws have never interested me so I’m probably one of the minority on here who doesn’t see a bmw as their s body successor lol.

I used to think a Monaro would be a fair shout

Some interesting replies, wasnít expecting so many BMW suggestions!
I do like BMWís but I hear a lot about the newer ones feeling almost numb and disconnected so Iím not sure if it would live up to the 14?

Iím not using it daily anymore, I drove it daily for 3 years straight but I retired it to just a weekend/summer car at the end of last year.

As for an S13 I know it probably wouldnít feel much different to the S14 but I thought maybe just switching models would restore my enthusiasm.
