    2871r .64 v .86

I’m looking to squeeze a little more power out of my baby 2871r .64! How much extra power do people see by swapping to the .86 exhaust housing?

when I looked at the difference between the sizes I found.its the lag that I would be concerned with. the larger rear looks to spool way later. that Tial .72 that guy was selling the other week would be the perfect size but its all V band fitment.

I concluded the 71R was just a dinosaur.

The turbo is old hat for sure, what’s the real world difference in spool? A few extra bhp would help with 1/4 mile times was my thinking and may even help save the box with a slightly less aggressive launch.

From what I've seen, it's about 40hp. Same boost figure at about 400-500rpm later iirc. Probably feels like an eternity if you're used to the smaller housing
