    Harness side straps

    Hi all

where have people secured the side lap straps for their harness?
I saw the eye bolts in the standard seat belt holes but track regs wont let you use the same mount for the harness as for the seat which rules out he inner seat hole on the transmission tunnel.

    Thanks

you can buy eye bolt spreader plates which you drill a hole and put the plate behind

Did not know that. i suppose thats the easier/cleanest way to do it. thanks for that mate. Do ye think the tunnel or the floor is the best place to drill?

I used the bolt in spreader plates but welded them directly to the tunnel on the inside but I run no carpet etc so wasn't bothered about the aesthetics. If you want to see I think I might have some pics in my build thread or I can get some more.
