Turbo Seals
I'm new to 200sx's and looking to buy my first soon. I have seen one but its been dry stored for a number of years (around 8-10 years). I was advised to look out for turbo seals for cars that have been sat but the guy says there is no smoke. Is there another way to check the condition without taking everything out to have a look or how long do turbo seals last for? The car will be hopefully my daily and so I need it to require as little maintenance as possible (other than regular servicing) or be off the road for a small amount of time when necessary.

Rust should be your main priority, turbos can be picked up fairly cheap, but to check the bearings for play can’t really be done without removing parts.
