    yay

You only need two tools in life - wd-40 and duct tape. If it doesn't move and should, use the wd-40. If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape.

And if you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem!

Not sure are they from a more modern volvo?

Was thinking 240 series, but definatley not the right headrest or panelling....

    960 seats?

They look a little too modern to me for the body shape

Nail on head. The electric junk can be removed if need be so not an issue.

Get where you're coming from ABT but its a 2dr and i want to be able to use the rear seats easily for the kiddies and I have been offered the whole lot for less than a seat of that type generally costs.

You need a seat like this as those chunky headrests just ruin the silhouette of the car.

Could bin the headrests off altogether but would leave holes in the top which would look crap.

I'd be in the lookout for something similar in design to the p1800

didn't realise it was a 2 door, 4 door seats in a 2 door would just be a pain. those recaro's that mark posted are decent comfy seats. what about alfa Romeo leathers? id expect is200 seats to be practically free.

This, and the top of the seat needs to sit in-line or just below the bottom of the window.

Otherwise it looks like a total bodge.

only problem with alfa seats is they always have the alfa logo embossed into them so if you start putting them into something else it can look a bit funny.

Manufacturers spend a lot of money on seats (relative to the other components) and they do it for a reason. They can make or break a car. You've put so much time and effort into the car that it seems a bit daft to just chuck a set of mismatched seats in it coz you've been offered them for cheaps.

IMO, they need to be period and low profile as well as practical. Oh, and please don't fit tan ones.
