Talk to me about head lights mr2 maybe ??

hi all.
Has anyone put mr2 pop up head lights on a s13.
I’m finding it impossible to find standard s13 ones and there’s loads of mr2 lights on eBay complete with motors for cheap.

Wondering how much modification is required,
The front of my car is tubed so making brackets to hold them isn’t a problem.

More concerned about if there bigger than the s13 ones.

In a rush for some lights so I can get the thing on the road after the engines rebuilt.

Or any other pop up lights that fit with some modifications.

if you get really stuck, I have a Mk1 MR2 on the drive and an S13, I could probably found out if the light units themselves are the same

MR2 m1+mk2 AE86 and S13 share the same light,there are other cars as well, get some Raybrigs as the stock nissan glass headlight is terrible for light output

Do you mean the head lights are the same or the whole headlight units with motors etc are all the same.

I skim read 1st post and missed the bit about the pop up brackets
the lights are the same the pop up mech is different, if your tube front making them fit/fabing some brackets should be doable
