Which propshaft to use?

Hi,

I have a S13 CA18DET. It's currently an auto and I am doing a manual conversion.

I am fitting an SR20 5 Speed Gearbox using the CA bellhousing.

1. Do I still use a CA Propshaft or a SR Propshaft or are they both the same size?

2. Aftermarket Propshaft. I'm thinking of upgrading the prop in the future to a single piece. Could I use this sr20 one? My car originally had ABS but I removed it.

Are you talking about a prop from an SR20 S14 or SR20 180SX??
I'd expect the SR20 180SX prop to be the same length as the CA18 S13 prop, not sure on the S14 one.

The SR and CA gearboxes are near identical, so for now a normal S13 manual prop should get you up and running.

Does anyone know if this would fit? Only SR20 and KA24 are listed but it is a US website. So was wondering if this would fit.

I have a UK Spec S13 - CA18DET - Auto with ABS.

ABS has been fully removed!

I am converting the Auto to a manual.

I am using A SR20 Gearbox and I have upgraded (in the process of upgrading) the gear set using a 5 Speed OS Giken gear set with OS Giken input shaft. I am using the bell housing from the CA Manual Gearbox.

I am currently going to use the standard S13 Manual Propshaft but want to upgrade to a single piece later and wanted to know if one from the drive shaft shop would fit. I am assuming i will have to choose the ABS variant as the car originally came with ABS.

stay 2 piece prop. fit the uk spec manual CA s13 prop.

Also I'm sure you can get an aftermarket driveshaft made up in this country, no need to import anything from the USA.
