    Help! GReddy or Freddy intake?

    hi all,

Looking for some GReddy experts. I’ve looked through previous threads and can’t make my mind up on if this manifold is a fake or not. Taken lots of photos so hopefully it’s easy to tell.

I’ve been sold this as a genuine GReddy intake

The previous owner had it recently soda blasted which makes it harder to tell.

Any help would be much appreciated!

Hold gaskets up to the mating surface and check for accuracy, you'd expect a Freddy one to be a terrible fit.

check the casting on the inside, the Freddy ones are pretty rough. My genuine gReddy one for the RB25 is a much nicer finish, higher quality cores when it's been cast. (I bought a genuine gReddy after all the faff of getting a freddy one to not leak water )
