Hi all

Is it advisable to use a 88mm gasket on the standard bore block?
Also whats the benefits/effects of running higher/lower compression seeing as the gasket thickness affects it.

you dont really use gasket thickness to raise or lower compression. you use the different thicknesses to compensate for the amount skimmed off during machining of the block or head during a rebuild.
