Are we meeting at the services prior to it this year?

Also, it is now highly unlikely that my car will make it now (unless a miracle happens) so I will probably end up bringing another old Nissan

    Fingers crossed for the miracle.
I’ll be staying close to the venue, so I’ll be going straight to the show to set up the stand.

    Can but hope and pray.

What time do they start letting us in?

...and what time do they shut the gates ?

Is there only going to be me and Ronnie travelling from Essex then ? Won't be much of a convoy if its just him in a 13 and me in the Jaaaaggg.

Are you basically saying RTFM ?

That's like having a dog and barking yourself.

Best cars at the show for me were...

    Ferrari 250GT ? Nope.

    Sunbeam ? Uh-uh

    Alfa Romeo ? Close...very close.

Standard Swallow 2 ? I nearly cried. Superb in every way. The lines, the design, the quality and the cleanliness. Just utterly stunning in every way.

The work of Lyons and Walmsley who created SS pre-war then renamed to SS Jaguar then dropped the SS after the war for some strange reason

Highest value SXOC stand ever, including when we have had 50+ cars out? Probably

Great day out, highlight for me were the Alfa pictured above that was just left in one of the carparks, an ivory white DB6 Superleggera owned by the most average looking couple youd ever see and a "concours" F355 that wasnt quite as nice as the other one there

Stick us down for next year, cheers to Paul for arranging and everyone else for turning up

Thanks for the kind words, not all of the cars there was my own work (mutual interest owners via other meets/shows) and regular attendees of sxoc stands helped make the day.

That wasn't "just left in one of the car parks", that was the individual contributors stand ! They have clubs one side and non-club cars on the other. For me, most of the best cars are in the individual contributors stand

There were about a hundred cars that were lovely that I didn't take pictures of. All the cars I shot were cars I'd never seen before in my life. Usually, that's 0 or 1 car per year. This year there were 5 !

I'm also quite happy with the quality of the photos from my £250 phone

Ha ha, we did see you following us The odd thing is you can't hear it when you are inside the car. It just whispers along

We went wandering quite early and it was literally just parked next to some truck like it had just been left there, not in any of the rows or anything - we almost waled straight past it.
When there was a Lexus 430SC in front of the house and this parked in fairly long grass something had clearly gone wrong IMO

You pay for a place in front of the house as it entitles you to run up and down the drive.

    It raises money for charity.
