    Best 90's luxury car?

So after having a hard days work one night I got into my land rover discovery 1 and started my journey home, to at that point I said why am I bothering with a clunky monster of a car to drive when I'm tired, I mean I have to think on how to drive this beast knowing its odd quirks, so I said why don't I get a cheap 90's lux car I can take time to time into work?

Question is what's best? I looked at the lexus Ls400 as a start but also looked at Toyota crown bit more expensive (cheap af if I can)

But what other 90's lux cars are there that's fun? I want champagne holders and knee rests the over the top crap I don't really need!

    I'd be buying a tidy W124 Merc.

Not the last word in luxury, but prices are on the rise and now is the time to buy.

I love my E39 530d auto - so relaxing to drive, power when you need it and 40mpg+ on a run. Can't argue with that!

left wing a bit here, Citreon C6, peugeot 607, 7 series or insignia. all come as good mpg diesel and are always well specd and decent value

I'd steer clear of older jags my dad had a few back in the day and theyre nothing but trouble.

old ones are minging though, new ones are real nice but usually have weird colour schemes going on, like orange leather seats. they do make you really lazy and you start to wonder why all cars don't have a panoramic display on the dash of what's going on outside or self closing doors.

ive never been able to get the 'reserve power' needle (which is basically the rev counter) to respectable levels.

what about a rover sterling, hahahah or a vittesse 2 door coupe.

Wash your mouth out with soap young man.

Old ones still ride better than nearly anything, still have an undetectable gearchange and are still pretty much silent at any speed, its the only car Ive driven where EVERYONE smiles at you too. They do have a rather unique smell about then but at least everyone knows youve been travelling in a Roller

Being lazy is no bad thing either

I wouldn't smile at people who drive old rollers. I look at them with a screwed up face because they are so ugly.
