Hi guys, long story short battery went flat in my s14a and i've fitted a new one as it wasnt holding charge.
Now the car wont turn over, when i turn key i get a click from the starter motor, so thats definately getting power, but nothing else.
Any ideas? wondering if its immobilisor related as it keeps beeping at me and my keys have always acted a bit weird.

Sounds like a knackered starter to me. Have you tried tapping the solenoid?
Or have you tried bump starting the car?
Also worth getting a multimeter and checking the battery have around 12.6 volts when the car is off and is charging to around 14v when the car is running. That rules out the alternator.

Check your earth and positive cables. Is the battery relocated or in the standard position?

Worth checking the earths as well. I left the terminal loose once and the car was doing all sorts of odd stuff. But it did start.Originally Posted by skint14a

This is usually loose nuts... i mean connections.

Give it a few taps with a hammer. Might get you going until you find another.
