    Sr20 z32

I keep hearing and seeing all different things about Z32 MAF sensors. What are the actual advantages and disadvantages of this maf and once fitted will the car run properly or will it need tuning straight away? Also what ECUs do you guys recommend using?

They flow more air so can be used with a bigger turbo etc. If you’re planning to get a new ecu then nistune and power fc’s Are the budget options which are both well proven. Best bet is to go for a link plug in if you have the cash or a power fc d-jetro as both are map based and don’t require an afm.

If you don't know what the reasons for running it are, it suggests you don't know what you are going to do with your car. Figure out what you want from your car and you'll quickly be able to understand if it's a useful or useless thing to you.

Don't bolt it to a stock car.

If you do need one and buy one, make sure it's genuine. Lots of knock offs with very erratic signals that can cause all sorts of trouble.
