Spec lvls arent great when pricing up like for like. The seating wasnt comfy ( to be fair I have felt that with all modern VW's tbh).

It was a decent drive and very comfy. The amaroks available to me are no where near the ranger in terms of spec/trim level for the price and the 16plate I drove earlier just wasn't comfy. The l200 barbarian is just over 300/mth but need to find one local enough to have a browse and drive
Yeah the ranger was coming out the same sort of price for me, 3 year contract hire, 20k miles per year, 3 + 35 payments.

i managed to get a warrior for £332 / month. spec is very similar to the wildtrak but the finish just isnt quite as nice. Either way, £70 a month company car tax suits me i'll take almost anything.

Only with 200bhp tho, pity they couldn't rustle up a few more.

Current like up delivers that, thought the Raptor version would have abit more poke.

200bhp in 2wd mode and nothing in the back is still quite interesting

True but it's a 450bhp lump in the proper F-150 version, a 2 litre diesel is a far cry from that.
Don't Ford have a slightly meatier engine they can put in, without going for a Powerstroke V8?

Petrol pick ups just dont sell in Europe as they are 95% bought as work horses where as in the states people buy them as family vehicles. Theres the 3.0 TDV6 that Landrover use which is actually going in the F150 as a new entry level version so that could probably be made to fit.

It depends what sound you are going for but if you want a nice clean sound; go for single coil, if you want a fatter and more aggressive sound; go for humbuckers...if you want to go really heavy though you need active pickups....wait...oh....balls...just ignore me.
