Hi, I am having a S14a gearbox refurbished by a specialist. The box is in decent nick but it could do with replacement syncros (both 3 piece) on 2nd and 3rd gear. They are usable but showing some wear. There a several places in the USA which seem to do kits for the rebuild, but is there anywhere in the UK which can supply the parts? Having tried google.
For info, the box is going in 240z so I’m not looking to upgrade any further.

I think conceptual tuning were selling rebuild kits for them but be wary as I think there are subtle variations between the different small casing Nissan boxes.

Not in the UK, but I've bought loads of genuine Nissan parts from here.
There's some import duty and delivery to pay, but still far, far cheaper than Nissan. Four days from ordering to my door as well.
Thanks for the replies. I have spent hours looking at various sources on the net. I am talking to a Nissan dealer who is happy to help me if I have the original car registration that the gearbox was in. I can’t get the details unfortunately. Another way would be to get the VIN number. I realise that people don’t want to necessarily advertise their car’s details on any sort of forum, but can anyone give me a VIN number range for a 200SX, S14a, manual, 1999, UK or Europe car?
The reason I ask is that Euro cars have a three piece syncro on their 3rd gear (inner baulk ring/synchroniser cone/outer baulk ring) whilst US models have a two piece. Both markets had a 2nd gear, three piece syncro.
I having contacted (or tried contacting) several companies including Partsouq about this. I seem to be having more luck with Nissan and JDM Heart at the moment. But I am a bit stuffed without a VIN or a reg. can anyone assist me please?
