A question about standard radio.

Tonight must be the first night I've put the radio on when it's been dark. I couldn't see what radio station was on as the LCD display wasn't illuminated. Is that how they are or is a back light gone or is there a button I need to press?

I should really program some stations but that requires reading up how to do it and I never have the manual to hand when sat in the car.

probably should be a light behind the LCD display. could just be a knackered display.

on most stereo's you tune it to the station you want then hold down the appropriate button you want to program that station too.

Yeah S13 stereo is not that easy. There's a sequence I think but I can't remember what it is.
