    Nissan Liberty MPVs

Randomly searching for a new work hack/family wagon and up comes an SR20 powered 8str Nissan Liberty. Tis a new one on me. Anyone know much about them?

    Link for example

I now little about it other than insurance may sting a bit as it's an import,
more concerning is it overheats, like it must have boiled over at least once and it skims over any other issues
to cover his ar$e if it needs a head gasket/cylinder head who knows
not a bad idea just not that one, I also doubt the CVT will last long if it was boosted

you wont see another driving towards you often , if it needs any trim parts or panels finding them will be a costly saga
at a guess its a rebadged almera tino so mechanical's wont be hard to find
edit : had to look and its a 3rd gen Prairie re-badged

Yeah they are not much to look at. But an SR20DET powered 4wd one zombie spec'd example would be my plan

Hahahahahahaha. Well I got into an argument with someone at Nissan customer service this week about why they don't offer fossil fuel auto NV200s in the UK when other countries have had them from the getgo. When I told them they were excluding Disabled drivers they went quiet for 24hrs I then got a very carefully worded reply from another bod Came to nought. So back on the hunt for a mini van to replace the Mondog.

If you're chucking fuel economy out of the window then just get a Stagea

The stag is more mobile than it looks.

No bigger than an e36/e46 footprint really. Narrower than my old m3 as i could get it into the garage and get out without bumping doors on the walls

200 horses 2JZ with decent handling and loads of kit, plenty practical and less than a night with an Albanian prostitute. What's not to like.
