S13 brake system limits?
Hi All,
I have upgraded the S13 brakes to R32 fronts (4 pot) and Z32 rears. Will the standard S13 brake master cylinder and servo be up to the job of providing enough hydraulic pressure or is it advised to upgrade to a Z32 MC and servo?
Many thanks

You might find the pedal travel is abit excessive with the standard master cylinder, so the Z32 is a good upgrade.

No need to change the servo, but upgrading to at least the 1" S14 master cylinder would be a good idea.

Thanks for the advice. Seeing as one of the ports on the s13 mc has threaded it's a perfect excuse to upgrade

there are three versions of the z32 bmc ,the 1" as above ABT posted is best for set up you have
side of the bmc body close to the 2 mounting bolts they are marked, can be 7/8,1" or 1 1/16th"
depending on year and N/A or TT they can be varied what size they had fitted so best to check the size marked

So the S14 one is more preferable to the Z32?

14 bmc rear bias is for single piston calipers, might work but have longer pedal than ideal, would be slightly better than the 13 bmc
the best option is the 1" z32 as f&r bias will match the caliper sizes, shorter pedal and pulls up evenly
