    Decent replacement for fuel lines

Replaced all my fuel lines (Front to back) a few years ago for rubber hoses. They were spec'd for fuel but have already started to perish...

Anyone got a recommendation for a decent replacement? (Don't want to go back to copper as all fixings are there for rubber hose now ).

I had the same issue as you where i bought (apparently Fuel Spec'd) rubber lines for the fuel lines on my old track car and they started to perish after a few years.

I bought braided PTFE Hose for my fuel lines on the S14 Track car but they need specific AN fittings.

As above, you need PFTE hose really. Rubber hose suffers with modern fuels.

Cheers guys I'll search around for some PFTE hose, ideally I don't want to change to AN fittings... Do you reckon its possible to use with just normal hose clamps?

You can't use PFTE hose with standard tails, it doesn't work with a clip as it's not flexible.

Pop down to your local Pertek store with a sample of your perished hose.
Hopefully find out why you had issues and get supplied the correct hose, prices are reasonable, I never had any problems with Pertek supplied fuel hose.

R9 or r90 or something rings a bell I used the think fuel hose is fuel hose but there as so many variations due to the ethanol content going up all the time so your better to have a look one someone like the gates site and see what the newest version is

I used a blue fuel hose from Think Auto which was designed to work with push on fittings.

    https://www.thinkauto.com/acatalog/O...__Hose_45.html

It was in the engine bay, but showed no signs of degradation for years.

Fluoro-silicone lined silicone hose is fuel safe, and probably a good option if you aren't able to screw a fitting on to either end of your application.

I just used black fuel injection hose from a local motor factors. Cable tied to brake line and pipe clips about every 20cm.
