    Sr20 breather fitting removal

After some advice on whether the metal fittings (pictured) that go from the valve cover to a breather hose can be removed or not.

If they can what’s the best method on doing so?

    Thanks

I've removed a few with just a pair of mole grips on the bead rolled bit of the tube, curved jaws are better
some will twist out some are well stuck and it starts to crush (fcuk up) the tube,
if you have a bit of solid bar or a bolt that can go inside the tube that would lessen the crush and gives it something to lock onto
end of an extension bar or small socket may work as well, the closer fitting to the internal diameter the better
last resort if you found a good fitting socket or bar you could drive with a ratchet could tack weld tube to bar/socket and twist it out
