It a stupid to put Melbourne first on the calander. Everyone expects loads to happen with reg changes etc and it almost never delivers. Cool track and close viewing but not first.

My 2018 predictions
Merc to win outright again - no surprise
Lewis to win outright again - no surprise
Lewis to be a mega twat - bears crap in the woods.
Ferrari to be behind by quite a bit once settled down - yup
Vettel to be a mega bellend - pope is a Catholic ect..
Vettel to crash into lots of folk - almost certain
Mclaren to be slow
Mclaren to blow up
Agree with all the above except mclaren. I reckon Williams will be the new Bad.
There isn't a 19 thread I don't think so this will do
Great British GP over the weekend. Some class action there. CLC is a lad. Lewis in full on beast mode. Vettel is a ****ing clown
Your being very polite about Vettel lol
I thought he was a ****ing mong
Seb proving once again he cant race for toffee CLC will finish above him at the end of the season and I can see Seb being replaced for the 2021 season.
Lewis got lucky with the safety car, Bottas would have won otherwise. 2 good races on the bounce so all the 'F1 is boring' trolls have disappeared
Clc and max had a great battle, really surprised they didn’t end up wiping each other out, but finally some proper racing... vettle has lost it, he won’t get any more drivers championships unless he steps his game way up and I don’t think that’ll happen, last year was a great opportunity for Ferrari and he threw it away for them.
I think Lewis would of past bottas on track if he hadn’t got lucky with the safety car, he had a much better pace.

Glad to see Clc not giving MV an inch. Very very likely Lewis would have got past Bottas, he had more pace and he could follow closely, it was just a matter of time before he had another chance and made it stick.
Vettel is done mentally, his confidence appears shattered.
On the Lewis thing, Motorsport Magazine reported that in an interview he'd already decided he was going Medium then Hard on a one stop, because his tyre use was significantly better than Bottas on the Friday long runs and he didn't agree with the team's 2 stop strategy. Once Bottas claimed pole he kept that to himself. The team allowed the driver in 2nd place the option of running long. Lewis was going to run long anyway and given the pace he had on the hard compound he could have just sat behind until such point Bottas needed to pit again. His car on strategy meant he never had to overtake on track and in pushing Bottas earlier on and making him use more of his tyres than he'd have liked, his ability to protect his front tyres made the strategy work.
His tyre maintanance was absolutley spot on, they were still decent enough on the final lap to take the fastest lap time away from Bottas, I bet that was annoying for him.
He's never been a great all round driver, he's only decent when he's in a much faster car sat out in front driving the race exactly how he wants, usually with his number 2 driver keeping the rest of the pack at a distance.
Anything else and he just doesn't seem to cope, buckles under pressure nearly every time.
A few scant races he's started really low down and driven right up through the pack, but other than that he just doesn't seem to have what it takes.
I can't see his ego letting him sign outside of a top team, it's either the best or nothing.
IMO he doesn't seem to enjoy the sport.
Yea I love that Kimi decided he'd done most things but hadn't yet owned a team, so went and bought into Sauber and drove that car.
