    Lazy sellers

One thing I donīt understand today days... all people have a smartphone in the pocket, the people waste tones of time uploading pictures on face instagram etc but when is the time for advertise something at forum each time less pictures at the advertises!!!! today days a picture of parts I think is obligatory.. Why so many advertises without any picture? Is not possible to add a rule to make obligatory a picture at sales thread on this forum?

    I ask..

The first thing I think when I open an advertise and no pictures inside is pufff lazy seller.. bad symptom...

since photobucket died its a real chore to upload pictures to forums.

Agree with above regards photobucket and the agro it caused , I use facebook for photo uploads and post links to each picture as they seem work ok,
or ask for an email address and I can send a bundle of detailed pictures
Agree with no pictures on an advert is not inspiring to a possible buyer and just generates requests for pictures anyway so might as well post some

Other forums I use have the option of uploading directly from the system your on like your phone for example. This forum doesn't allow you to do that & since photo bucket killed all my pics I & quite a few others don't want to bother trying another hosting site. I have tried imgur but couldn't get on with it. I'm also not on fb so don't know how there system works to link to forums.

Agree with what you're saying, I can never bother with adds if there's no picture. Sometimes someone else can catch a mistake that the potential purchaser might miss/ be unaware of.

Finally got around to using postimage. Obviously it means uploading images again, but it took no effort to sign up. Works same as PB.

    I just like the picture.

I usually create the thread on my PC then take photos on my phone and post to the thread using tapatalk. They biggest hassel then is finding the damn thread on tapatalk.

If I want good quality pics, I use a camera, download to my PC and use postimg like Cleanhands to host the pics.

If you are trying to sell lots of stuff in one thread it can be a pain to lay everything out and photo it.

However, when I see a car for sale with a stiff price and 2 external "artsy fartsy" shots I just think they are taking the piss. The object of a picture is to show someone what they are getting and save them a trip if its not what they want. It shouldn't be about fooling someone into buying something that feckered.

    Nice pic of the intakes

    On the computer:

    Click "Go Advanced"
Press insert image button on toolbar

    The following box appears

    Choose file
Press on where it says "Upload file(s)"

On Driftworks for example on any thread at the bottom it says reply or add image. When you click add image you get an upload file option. When you click that you can go to files on your phone & add an image. That can't be done on this forum.

Hosting pictures isn’t free, we have to pay to host the site. Driftworks is a business.

They have the same format on retro-rides though mate!
Couldn't you use the membership fees that members pay?

That's right. Use my money to provide you with a benefit !

Its only Ģ18 a year to be a paid-up member of SXOC. If you don't think its worth it, don't moan about not being able to host pictures on the site

I've been a member for years actually!
It wouldn't just benefit me though would it? It would benefit the forum so more people would continue to use it. Forums are dying daily & I thought as other forums have started a host site it would benefit this site too.
I was never moaning it was an observation. I don't know why you're getting so aggy!
It's only since photobucket stopped me hosting pics that I haven't renewed my membership. I can do build threads & host pics on other forums.
The thread is called "lazy sellers" & I was giving an observation.
