    PS13 SR20 straight cam project

    Afternoon!

    Im looking to import a PS13 this year and would want to be upping the power once its here, ive put together the following list of parts id be looking at for the car, along with some prices (I get discounts through the trade so if they seem low thats probably why!)

    If you find yourself here, could you advise any alternatives please, or things ive missed off the list!

    Few things seem a bit off to me....
    Exhaust £ 50.00 (stock?)
    Cams £ 100.00 (stock?)
    Head Gasket £ 30.00 (stock?)

    I'd uprate those if you're going to the trouble of injectors, turbo and remappable ecu

    Perks of my work bud, will be custom turbo back system with 285 profile cams with new pulley/sprocket set up and a up-rated head gasket.

    Just a budget for the car, ill be importing one so that £12k will be covering everything needed to have it on my drive.

    I'm looking for a super clean and stock example. Any change from £12k will be a bonus.

    I'd be expecting 6k change from that budget. My mint ps13 was less than 3k landed last year, none turbo but picked up a turbo engine for the price I sold the NA

    Its just a budget to be honest, like I say, if the car comes under that then its a bonus.

    Fair play! Bear in mind with the expected power and torque of your setup, your gearbox may not last that long if you're aggressive with it.. There are plenty of conversions that will help (z32, z33, r33 tgs-t etc)

    I had thought that! Would that be the first to let go I assume?

    I wont be skidding, tracking or anything that involves large testicles! lol

    Will just be for a bit of blasting through the summer etc, ill happily change the box over if needed though.

    With regards to the list above, what do you think id see from a s15 spec-r turbo? I want some more power from the car but I don't need an awful amount!

    I'd rather change the box over and do bigger turbo bits at a later date really!

    sounds like a boy racers check list. you missed off chrome pedals and under car neons.

    Shall do mate, im sure you'll be wanting some second hand parts if they're going cheap enough to suit your budget.
