I'm glad they think it's expensive.

Ditto. Honestly FB is currently working out to be an awesome place to sell stuff but some of the people on there are just the dregs of society.

Worthy of a thread I think. Shed of the Day. How about, 'FB Buyer of the Day'.

There are some right goons on FB marketplace. And the conversations are comical. Definitely worth its own thread!

£6,700 is a big profit considering he just chucked it in a garage and drove it a couple of hundred miles.

He paid quite a bit less than 5 for it.

Personally, I wouldn't pay that for it. It needs a complete respray and a thorough mechanical going over to make it a worthy car and that's going to cost around £5K. It wouldn't be worth 12K with that done and still wouldn't be as good a car as Precious is.

Was it the guy you sold it to though?

It looks like a young US Air Force guy that owns it currently.

Dunno. He's not had it long if Tompei sold it as it was less than a year ago that Paul and I saw him in it at the Museum of Power.

Maybe US Airforce Guy has done a load of work to it.

Maybe maybe, I was just trying to find the advert for you but it's gone. Regardless, I guess it's worth what someone will pay and the prices are definitely climbing, for both cars and parts.

Thanks. He doesn't mention if he's done anything to it but it doesn't look any different to when I sold it except there is no mention of the £600+ spares that came with it.

I checked the MOT history to see what the mileage had been over the last couple of years and it says it is a white, diesel MAN truck first registered in 2008 and yet to have an MOT lol.
