So I’ve got an oil leak - happy days!! I had parked my car up for a couple of days, and when I came into the garage there was a small amount of oil on the ground.
I jacked the car up and the oil had come from the rear of the engine and dropped onto the bell housing and dripped onto the floor. Now I’ve guessed that is the rocker cover gasket and have ordered myself a new one but was wondering - are there any other places it could be leaking from that would go onto the gearbox?
Also has anyone got any tips for getting off the sealant in the little half moon cut outs where the old rocker gasket goes? The rear left one is a bit of a tight fit!
