Battery/ lights setup help on off road buggy
As title really, I'm pretty clueless when it comes to electrickery and relays etc so after some guidance.
I want to mount a battery to run 2 spotlights, maybe a tail light, possibly a horn on my kids petrol buggy.
I know I can't just run wires straight from the battery to lights but what else will I need apart from switches & fuses, also what fuses & Battery power will be needed?
Any help would be wicked,

Switch powers relay (20/18 gauge wires), relay connects battery to spotlights (depending on power, thick 12/14 gauge wires), fuse in between a few inches from battery.
Horn only needs a 12v , and the output connected to the chassis.
if the battery is constantly charged like in a normal car, you wouldn't need a very large battery. If not, you'll probably need a big one

just buy one of these http://www.halfords.com/motoring/bul...g-fast-fit-kit
by the time you have bought all the bits you need you will be at the same price. if its for off road conditions smother all the connections in Vaseline or silicone sealant to keep the water out. or both.

Awesome thanks bud. I'll have a look into some of that you mentioned.
Also re the battery, true I'd have to get a trickle charger or similar. It was relay and fuse info that was main concern
