    dump valve

    hi all,
i currently own a scimitar 1800ti(ca18et) and i am looking for a decent dump valve as i,ve been told this can give you upto 15bhp
so any recomendations on which valve.
also any other help to get more power but without stressing the engine and without spending too much money
    thanks Chad

Dump valves won't give you any power increase, they claim to reduce turbo stall but in my experience they cause more problems through leaks etc than they solve

An upgraded dump valve will have a stronger springs to stop it being forced open at higher boost levels.

So an upgraded dump valve doesn't dump lol
Recircing dump valves can be made to work but regular vent to air dvs mess with the fuelling as metered air is being dumped instead of processed through the cylinders with the fuel.
You should get in contact with Craig as he races CA engined scimitars. I'm just trying to remember his user name on here.... It'll come to me eventually

Don't talk cars with the person that said they add power. Numpty.

Don't think they are worth it on any car with a maf/afm. And only then with decent boost and a high quality one at that.

    What are you planning?
