Gtx3076r v gtx3071r

I run a Tial 44mm wastegate, GTX3071R and 1000cc injectors.

I previously had the Sard 850s, but had to swap them out as they were maxed out at 485hp

Another vote for Ben's route, & this set up was jointly chosen by Greg & Superclarkey. It's going on a 2.2 stroker set up, Syvecs management, Poncams & usual other bits. Owens fettled the turbo a little, but this is a tried & tested choice, so I feel it's a safe bet.

Okay well turbo I am now changing, so that will be sorted, wastegate il have to get sorted and injectors I might leave them for now and see what I get, if its struggling or not good enough il up them to the 1000cc injectors.

I'm curious, which Link G4 ECU do you have and what ECU was suggested?

Okay...... GTX3071R (gen 2).... fitted!!

Now going to take the housing tonne drilled for my boost source & then aqua blasted...

40mm wastegate will be ordered tomorrow

To be fair though... they are right lol...

I just really didn't want to change the turbo

Having spoke with 4 different tuners they all said the exact same thing as Greg with regards to the turbo, not that it was shit but if it were they the 3071r would be the preferred choice for the power I'm aiming for.

Haha thanks mate, Garrett were pretty good to be fair... my work can get pretty much anything.

Greg advised me that SARD fpr are not the best either.... so guess what's on order..... haha

This was at 3bar fuel pressure i suppose? Running them at 4 bar gets you a bit more headroom

I have DW 810cc, hopefully they'll get me close to 600bhp. Otherwise will need to convert to top feed and 1200cc for a bit more headroom...

I'm pretty much the same as Ben, but I use a smaller tial mvs wastegate

I have a GTX3071R on my SR22 and I'm pretty happy with it at 520+hp
