Recommend me a shade of black!

Well Iv finally bitten the bullet and sent my 14a in for a respray. The cars going black again but I'm not sure if I should stay Kuro Black or maybe change the shade? I'm looking for a really "deep" black, something that really shines when well polished up.

Any ideas out there? I'm open to anything really, Metallica, pearls, gloss, flecks, whatever, I just need some inspiration!!

So what is the nicest shade of black you can think of?

ford panther black has a rainbow metallic flake if that's what you are into.

just tell them to paint it black and they will just buy black paint and not mix in any other colours to give it a tint.

Thanks for the suggestions lads, particularly that ebisu black, it and bmw shwarch (however it's spelt) are leading the way ATM.

I used to be into my Hondas so Iv already thought about pirate black buts it's too purple for me and I reckon that GM colour would be similar.

Any others keep them coming, who knew picking a black could be so stressful

Honda Nighthawk Black is just black with blue pearl in it. If you want deep and shiny, get the body shop to base and clear it, then flow coat it. It'll look like a mirror and be so deep that you could go swimming in it. Be prepared to pay a fair bit more for this though

What Mike said. Depth has little to do with the shade of colour you choose. Kuros black looks awesome when done right and lousy after 20 years of abuse

carbonschwarz from BMW is not a good idea
the color is dark blue most of the time and more expensive due to double layers

There are 800 bucks paint jobs and 20.000 buck ones. Go with simple black unless show car. Kuro black will fit time period and look awesome when fresh, plus you can bring it back by buffing it after a few years.

    Honda Pearl Raspberry Black.

I used to have a VFR750 in that colour, looked really good in the sunshine.
