Pop and plug.. what are they for??

Hi guys, just wiring and plumbing in my 14a an come across a plug that I don't have the connection for

I've worked out it's this plug on another starter loom but just need to know what it's for and if it needs to be there or not

Also where does this pipe go??

you should have a small outlet on your intercooler hose for that pipe to go on. its to do with the idle control valve.

Yeah Sussed that pal do you know what the plugs for.. it's next to the breather and a few vacuums

the first plug thingy with vac lines picture is something to do with the carbon cannister on automatic transmission cars
possibly because automatics have an EGR valve they have that extra one you can't find a plug for
EGR opens and that valve stabilizes idle so it don't stall or something like that
one vac/air line goes to plenum,other goes towards the carbon can
,the throttle body TPS switch has been changed already for the single plug manual TPS
I don't think you need the missing plug vac valve thing connected for it to run
you only need it if auto trans and working EGR valve
