    oe headbolts

    Hi guys,

    what sort of power are the oe/oem headbolts good for? I'm currently doing a forged build for my 14a which will be running a GTX3076R.
    I was thinking of using the ARP headstuds but ive seen a lot of mixed reviews in which a lot of them are negative.

    any help is appreciated.

    I would say it was 'what boost are the stock head bolts good for' not what power.

    The OEM head bolts are a good match for the stock head gasket (regardless of power within reason). However, with a GTX3076R forged build, thats (i'm guessing) decked and skimmed with a MHG, the greater clamping forces of the ARP's are essential!

    *Edit: with the potential in that turbo, i'd go with the Mazworx 1/2" stud kit!
