Just got a new 12 months MOT this week and it flew through!
Only advisories were a front ball joint with slight play. £25 part.
And rear brake pads low. £20 replacement.
The underside is the cleanest I have ever seen for one of these!
The MOT tester even commented on how clean it was underneath!
It has had a new Genuine Nissan Cobra alarm and immobiliser fitted with spare keys and fobs!
Work just recently completed in the last week:
Brand new rear brake lines replaced with braided and copper.
Brake calipers rebuilt with new pistons and seals all round.
New Apexi electronic tachometer (rev counter) retrofitted into original dash.
All new bright blue led dash lights to match the Apexi gauge.
History of the car:
The car is a genuine 2 owner car.
The car was previously lady owned for the last 19 years! (Teacher) since 1998 when it had 4000 miles on it. It was purchased from a Nissan Dealership second hand. Comes with the original sales receipt! Also comes with all the original manuals and service books. etc.
The car has been exceptionally well looked after!
The car has always been garaged.
The rear arches are the best I have seen on one of these!
The underside has been protected on a yearly basis to prevent rust.
The car has Nissan dealership full service history until around 90k.
Then has been maintaned by halfords specialists thereafter. Lots and Lots of money soent on it! Faultlessly maintained. No expense spared.
I bought it to convert to manual, but decided just to sell it as I have too many other projects and the mrs is not happy about me having another car! Car No. 5!
I really do not think you will find another car as clean and as original as this one!
The engine is completely unabused and runs soo smooth and faultlessly as does everything else!
The body work is pretty decent considdering the age with only a few dings here and there.
I have only given the car a quick wash since owning it, so it would come up really well with a good polish!
The drivers door has a few dents, but you can get one for £30 from a breakers in the correct colour quite easily. (I can give you the contact no.).
The black leather interior is in really good condition as is the drivers side bolster!
It is a bit of a shame to sell it really, but needs must, and it will keep the mrs happy.
