Complete air con removal for an S14

The air con is going to get taken out of the car.

Do I need to buy anything to replace the air con pump that's bolted on the engine?

    Any help is appreciated.

Nope, take the whole lot off, no extra belt needed, can take off the bracket that holds the pump, weights about 3kgs.

Before you take off the air con make sure you take the gas out from the garage as it legal to let the gas out of the air con.

It's a pretty easy job, loads of weight and clutter comes out the engine bay. Only faffy bit is removing the bits inside the cabin, which i haven't got round to doing yet!

I got two nuts and welded caps on top of them for the feed and return line through the firewall, not sure if needed, cannot remember the size or pitch off the top of my head

I'm half way through a reshell at the moment so it won't be too difficult.

    Thanks for the replies!
