Help. Turning over but no start.

Hi everyone, I hope someone can help me out.

My car isn't starting this morning (it's a 1997 S14a). It turns over but its not catching or even trying at all. I've had to leave it down at the shops about 10 minutes away but before coming back I tried disconnecting the return fuel line just to see there was fuel going through which it was.

The only thing I can think of is I took the fuel rail off yesterday.

The idle has been a bit rough lately and I wanted to check the injector seals. In the end they was fine so I bolted it back up. The check engine light was on after but it seemed to run fine so I planned to look into that today as I don't know how to read the codes atm. Can anyone tell me the process?

Funny thing is I've drove the car fine last night and to the shops this morning before any problems. Now though it just won't start.

    Any ideas?

    Provisionally sorted.

Checked the ECU and got code 13 - Coolant temp sensor. Turns out it takes some major pushing on.

For anyone struggling to check their S14 codes this pic helped me a lot:

    - insert a wire between ign and check
    - turn ignition to on
    - wait 2s and pull the wire out
    - count the blinks on the check engine light.

fast is the first part. the slow blinks come next and is the second part.

    I got 1 fast blink, 3 slow - 13

Sure the live feed to the starter hasn't fallen off the spade connector? - Thats the wire that tells the motor to spark.

Only know as i spent 2 hours over the weekend working my no spark out to be that had fallen off lol

Am I reading this wrong? If the live feed to the starter fell off it wouldn't crank. No spark is a totally different fault.
